Being a musician, the manner in which Mr Nick Waterhouse dresses is a vital part of his professional identity. And given the specificity of his songs - he plays determinedly retro guitar music inspired by 1960s-era R & B - it's no surprise that his taste in clothes is similarly focused on the classics. In terms of image Mr Waterhouse's videos principally reveal a penchant for horn-rimmed spectacles and neatly combed hair, but in this exclusive film he talks of his love for the classic Oxford shirt, his antipathy for what he calls athletic wear, and the distinction between presentation and preening.
