So, on the 7th & 14th of October 2013, when Lorde only had a couple of thousand views on Youtube, compared to the 167.386.361 views today (link here if you don't believe!) fashionspam was saying, and we quote ourselves 'she's gonna be huge pretty soon'..Well dear fellas, four months later - last night to be more specific - Lorde's "Royals" won Song of the Year at the 56th annual Grammy Awards and the song was also nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Apparently she's like 16 and her début album is called Pure Heroine. It's all you need to know! Just to mention, her first single, "Royals", reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first New Zealand solo artist to have a number one song in the United States.
