The second season of STARZ's highly-addictive, Miami-set drama, Magic City, premiered last night!

ONE TO WATCH: MR EMUN ELLIOTT!

One of the first things that you notice about Mr Emun Elliott is his voice. The Scottish-born actor speaks in a warm Edinburgh drawl, all single malt and heather honey. It's the kind of voice that would induce grown men to switch car insurance providers without due consideration; one can only imagine the effect that it has on the opposite sex. Combined with his enviable good looks and affable nature, it gives the 29-year-old the air of a wandering minstrel, a roguish charm that I can't be the first to pick up on if his recent casting in the medieval fantasy drama Game of Thrones, as the handsome troubadour Marillion, is anything to go by.

Taking inspiration from old Vogue and Vanity Fair magazines, original Dior couture pieces from mid-50s and other Men's Apparel magazines, costume designer Carol Ramsey and the producers of Magic City, have the potential to be the next 'Pan Am', 'Mad Men' or 'Boardwalk Empire'. (Just think of it as Mad Men meets the Mob in Miami or a Miami Boardwalk Empire after the Prohibition Era)

The set of Emmy-award winning Mad Men is the focus of a series of images from James Minchin III. The Los Angeles-based photographer captures the set, the props, along with candid behind-the-scenes photos of the characters both on and off set. What makes the images so captivating is how it connects the past with the present. The creators do such a remarkable and convincing job with the show that when confronted with the truth here in black and white it seems almost surreal.
