STYLE SETTERS: MR CARY GRANT!
Good Morning! Stay Classy!
Born in a working-class area of Bristol, in the west of England, in 1904, Mr Archibald Leach legally changed his name to Cary Grant, his professional name as an actor, in 1942. His mother suffered from depression when he was young and was committed to a mental institution. He never saw her at all during his childhood and adolescence. In fact, he thought she was dead and did not discover the truth until he had lived in the US for many years. He hated school, managed to get expelled and started his long theatrical career on the "halls" doing all the undignified things that were part of an actor's practical training in those days.

FASHIONSPAM RECOMMENDS: GRACE, A MEMOIR!
For decades, Grace Coddington's personal touch has steered wildly imaginative fashion spreads in Vogue magazine. Then came The September Issue, the behind-the-scenes documentary that turned the spotlight on a woman with a no-nonsense attitude and an unerring visual instinct. Overnight, the flame-haired Grace became a heroine for fashion insiders and the general public alike.

THELONIOUS MONK - MONK'S DREAM!
Buenas Noches!
THE BOYS ARE BACK!
And no, I'm not talking about Scott Hicks's drama. I'm talking about some of my favourite street style appearances.
In the following order: Nick Sullivan, Josh Perskowitz, Michael Hainey, Robert Rabensteiner, Milan Vukmirovic and Bruce Pask.
For those of you who ask themselves whether the guys appearing in street style photos actually dressed that way in real life—or if they even really stood by what they had on, the answer is..not your problem! Watch, learn, and replicate, but then go get your own style, mate.

HARRY NILSSON - HOW CAN I BE SURE OF YOU
Have a good night, a good song and enjoy the news below!
FASHION FORGIVES: THE GALLIANO RETURN!
"Everyone in life deserves a second chance, especially someone as talented as John," "I think that life is about forgiving and helping people.…I think John is doing all the right things.” Oscar de la Renta
When Galliano 'left' Dior, Raf Simons Jil Sander and Stefano Pilati YSL, we always said one thing 'Can't wait to see what's next for them'! (although Galliano's situation was just a little bit different) Now let's recap: Stefano Pilati Creative Director and Head of Design at Ermenegildo Zenga, Raf Simons Creative Director at Dior..And last but definitely not least John Galliano to work in Óscar Aristides de la Renta's design studio!
“I am grateful to Oscar beyond words for inviting me to spend time with him in the familiar surroundings of a design studio.”. “His support and faith in me is humbling.” John Galliano
When John Galliano left the fashion industry in disgrace in 2010, everyone knew it: at some point, he'd be back. Now might be that moment. Oscar de la Renta has invited the disgraced 'designer' into his New York design studio over the next three weeks as he prepares for his forthcoming New York Fashion Week show! Although we had to wait for almost two years, this news feels so damn good! Especially thinking about those who, at the time, did not give Galliano a chance! We're pretty sure 'Oscar de la Renta' would have sounded like a really good joke for them two years ago.
"John and I have known each other for many years and I am a great admirer of his talent." "He has worked long and hard on his recovery and I am happy to give him the opportunity to reimburse himself in the world of fashion and reacclimate in an environment where he has been so creative." Oscar de la Renta
"Oscar de la Renta is the king of uptown style and John Galliano the prince of romantic glamour, so it should be a magical match," "I am delighted John's returning to fashion."Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman

NEW SEASON, NEW FACES!
Most of us (at least us, the obsessed street style enthusiasts - how nice does 'enthusiasts' sounds after 'obsessed') got used to seeing George Cortina, Justin Doss (fashionspam's fav), Luigi Tadini, Robert Rabensteiner, Nick Wooster, Sam Lambert, Josh Perskowitz, Simone Marchetti, Luca Rubinacci, Nicola Ricci, Lino Ieluzzi (fashionspam's 2nd fav) etc. etc. faces at every Pitti Uomo, Fashion Week, Fashion Event, etc. etc.
However, every year a bunch of new faces step up in more than one shot, even if it's just for one season! (It's sort of like football, the season starts, you wait for the transfers, you follow your favourite team bla bla)
